Algeria & Oakland Collaboration
Open to Environmental Engineering Students only from ENP (all levels)
We are excited to announce an opportunity for students from the Environmental Engineering Department to participate in a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project titled “Globalism: Algeria & Oakland Collaboration”. This project is a unique chance to collaborate with students from Oakland Community College (OCC) in the United States, focusing on topics related to globalism and its impact on various fields, including environmental engineering.
Project Overview:
- Theme: Globalism and its implications on technology, environment, and international relations.
- Topics: Students will research and present on topics such as Climate Change Challenges, Electric Vehicles, AI, and more.
- Format: Collaborative group work with students from both ENP and OCC, culminating in a final paper or recorded podcast.
Key Dates:
- Start Date: Tuesday, March 4, 2025
- End Date: Tuesday, April 1, 2025
- Meeting Times: Weekly Zoom sessions at 4 PM Algiers time (10 AM Detroit time).
Eligibility:
This call is open to all levels of environmental engineering students who are interested in global issues, collaborative projects, and intercultural exchange.
