Context and objectives of the training

This program allows students to acquire knowledge and develop skills scientific skills. It is suitable for the S.T.C program, the main characteristic of which is to
facilitate the establishment of partnerships between institutions in the country or even different countries in
providing a common principle for describing educational programs. This program
of teaching in Materials Engineering is a high integration of themes in
laboratories, as opposed to traditional compartmentalization laboratories on
each discipline. In this new teaching structure, particularly in
laboratories, students examine more flexible multidisciplinary problems; they have
also more opportunities for collaboration and skills development in
communication matters.
It also aims to train specialists in the field of engineering sciences able to carry out
a systematic approach to design and / or research thus preparing them either for research
industrial or in pursuit of doctoral studies. The engineer graduating from this specialty therefore becomes
operational whether for industry or for the pursuit of doctoral studies.
It goes without saying that this training mainly meets the needs of the industry whose changes are
profound in view of the economic demands of the hour.

The profile of the outgoing engineer is in the field of Materials Engineering, the acquisition of knowledge of which allows him to work in a constantly evolving discipline.
